Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Gupta is an accomplished QMS, Regulatory and Technical professional having 25 years of experience in the field of Medical Device and In Vitro Diagnostic Devices. He holds a doctorate in Biotechnology from IIT-Roorkee & IGIB, premier institutes of India.
He successfully worked with 6 organisations, handled several product lines, multi-cultural teams and across time zones. He has held Leadership Roles covering the complete product life cycle of IVD reagents, diagnostic tests based on lateral flow, flow through, ELISA, turbidimetry, nephelometry, biochemistry and microbiology. He has successfully transformed the Quality Management System and processes to achieve WHO Prequalification at two Indian companies.
Andrea Caputo is a Senior Research Scientist at EMPE Diagnostics since June 2020. Andrea completed his PhD in Marine Ecology at Stockholm University, specialising in molecular microbiology and advanced microscopy. Prior to that, he obtained his MSc in Marine Biology and BSc in Biological Sciences at Polytechnic University of Marche (Italy). Following his PhD, Andrea joined Stockholm International Water Institute (SIWI) as Programme Officer working on antimicrobial resistance, hence investigating the stakeholders surrounding the issue, the potential drivers of its spreading, and the available technologies for detection and monitoring.
Poonam Singh is a Research Associate at EMPE since June 2020 and has five years of experience working in BSL1 laboratory. She completed her master’s degree in Agricultural Biotechnology from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India and holds a PhD in Natural Sciences from Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany where she worked on benzoic acid metabolism in medicinal plants.
